The App is clunky and not easy to use and annoyed that when trying to combine different documents have to upgrade to the next level. So overall good product on laptop, poor app and disappointing capabilities v price.

So far, so good, I signed up for a subscription to do the 1099 forms, for my sons company. I will be filling them with the IRS thru this service also, so I will see how that goes.

Walk the walk. Before you think about how the conversation will go down, start acting like you're already in the role you're gunning for. Be specific about the title you want. Not sure where to start? Build your case. Prepare to hear 'no' And be prepared to look elsewhere.
Technically you can change your job title, but it's not a good idea. For example, if your resume says you worked as a process engineer, but your actual job title was junior process engineer, what you said isn't going to match what your employer says, and that's an issue.
A job title is a description of the duties of the role and the level of the position. Every field uses similar terms, but there is variation depending on the corporate structure. For managerial roles, titles typically include executive, director, manager, supervisor, or chief.
All you need to do is enter your current or past job title, and click on the find my career matches button. It will find closely related careers. Once you've found a career that is of interest, you can compare skills, see posted jobs, find businesses, and see salary ranges.
Your OCCUPATION is the type of work (or the field) you are paid to DO. Your Job Title is what your company assign to you when you accept the position. For example, if you are an accountant — Accountancy is your occupation.
For many people, the Job Title on their resume is the same Job Title from their last job. If your last position was Director of Software Development, then this is most likely the Job Title you want to use. But, if you are seeking a new position, then you should use that Job Title on your resume.
At-will employment doesn't just cover firing, however: An employer can also change the status of an at-will employee -- including, for example, the employee's hours, salary, title, job duties, worksite, and so on -- without notice and without cause.
3 Answers. The short answer here is yes, a company can change the title of an employee unless you have an employment contract or are part of a union. Even in these cases sometimes the company can change titles anyway.
