I am a self represented defendant in a small claims case. I cannot afford an attorney. With the robust capabilities, and plenty of time on my hands, I can plow through the case law and ca civil codes, but I can't readily find and fill out forms. PDF Filler has made it much easier to create and edit forms and templates, and complete documents which once had to be either retyped in their entirety, or required the much outdated use of a typewriter to complete.

Very easy to use
Very easy to use. Could perhaps be upgraded by getting you directly to one point you'are looking for in you document (pdfiller only underline the searched element but don't bring you to it).

How do you highlight text?
If you want to highlight one word at a time, press Ctrl key while holding down Shift, and then press the left or right arrow key. If you want to highlight a whole line of text, move your cursor to the start of the line, hold the Shift key, and then press the down arrow.
Why can't I get rid of highlighting in Word?
Select the Clear Formatting Option There are lots of ways that users can format text in MS Word. As such, try removing the highlighting by selecting the text and clicking the Clear Formatting option on the Home tab. Users can also select the text and press Ctrl + Space to remove its formatting.
How do I turn off highlighting in Word?

How do I remove the highlight from typing?
One is to simply press the Delete key after you select your text and before you start typing. This does affect both layers, and you can immediately begin typing without the lingering highlight. A second approach is to use Word's shortcut key that controls highlighting: Ctrl+Alt+H.
