My experience with PDFfiller has been mostly smooth. It has beneficial features I haven't found with other PDF editors. There are a couple of things that I haven't been able to do but I'm not sure if it's not an option or I just don't know how to do them.

How do I remove write protection on a PDF?
Open your OS's file browser. Select files. Open file properties and change attribute to read-only. Well, you could disable the ability for people to edit the files and to do this you go to File > Properties > Security and from there you can disable editing, commenting and printing of the file and even more.
Why can't I highlight my PDF?
Most likely because the file is composed of images (possibly scans) and does not contain any “real” text. If you can't select the text with the text selection tool then you can't highlight it, either. Use other markup tools, like the Square tool, instead.
How do I enable highlighting in PDF?
Open PDF. Click the “Open File” button to select the file you'd like to highlight. This will open the file within PDF element. Highlight Text in PDF. Go to the “Comment” tab and select “Highlight”. Save Highlighted PDF. Once you have highlighted the text, you can save the changes.
How do you highlight lines in a PDF?
