I wanted to create 2 additional 1099s but was unable to find that option so closed and requested it be sent to IRS. Now I know I should have selected "template" but have not been able to get that to work. Made another, and no option to send to IRS

When in meeting, click on Chat. At the bottom of the chat window, Click on Save Chat. This will save your chat to your local recording location. The default is your Documents folder > Zoom > Folder with meeting name, date and time.
The account owner or admins can choose how long chat messages are stored on the Zoom cloud and on local devices. This will delete all messages after the designated time frame. By default, messages are stored on the cloud for 2 years and messages are stored on local devices for 1 year.
Downloading archived messages Sign in to the Zoom web portal. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then I'm Management. Navigate to the Chat History tab. To view a list of messages, specify the dates you would like to search.
As the host, you can choose who the participants can chat with or to disable chat entirely. In-meeting chat can be saved manually or automatically. You can also manually save your chat when you start local or cloud recording. Note: Private messages between participants are not viewable by the host.
Use the Cloud Recording this captures the recording directly to Zoom's cloud server. You then have 30 days before that recording expires 30 days to download the video file and upload to a streaming server.
UPDATE, April 3, 2020: Zoom announced today that they'll be turning meeting passwords and waiting rooms on by default to strengthen security of your Zoom meetings. They've published an update with information about these changes here.
Download the Zoom app for iOS or Android. Open the app and start or join a meeting. Tap the screen to make the controls bar appear. Tap on Participants. At the bottom of the list, tap Chat. Type your message and tap Send.
