Where does print to PDF default to?
Note: Your PDF is saved in the folder specified by the setting of the Adobe PDF Output Folder in the Preferences dialog box; the default location is My Documents.
How to print with a PDFCreator?
Method 1: Printing¶ Print the document as you would on a regular printer. When the print dialog appears, change the printer from your default printer to the PDFCreator printer. If the PDFCreator printer is your default printer, you do not have to change it. Then start printing.
How to save in PDF Creator?
Creating PDF files with PDFCreator Select Print from the File menu. In the Print Name field, select the printer PDFCreator and click OK. You will see the window below. Push the Save button. You will be prompted to choose a location to save the newly created PDF file. Choose a location and push the Save button.
Where does a PDF creator print to?
Print¶ PDFCreator supports transmitting the print job to a further printer. Commonly this is a hardware printer, but it could be any printer installed on your computer, even another instance of PDFCreator. Select printer: You can either select your default printer or a printer from the list below (select printer ->).
Where does PDFCreator save?
In the HotFolder Configs, below the dropdown list to select the printer, you can see an Open Auto-Save Location button if you have enabled the auto-save feature for the selected printer. That is the folder where you can find the created PDF files.
What is the default printer for PDFCreator?
PDFCreator allows you to have multiple Windows printers. The default printer is “PDFCreator”, which can be renamed. The printer with the name “PDFCreator” is usually the primary PDFCreator printer (for printing with right mouse button in Windows).
