Why does it say save instead of print?
It is not the printer who make it, it is Google Chrome which you are using (please correct me if I'm wrong ). From the printing dialog of Chrome click the Change button and change from Save as PDF to your printer, then it should print instead of saving the file. Why does my printer want to save instead of print Windows 10?
This is an unusual glitch on some Windows 10 computers that are caused due to various reasons. This includes malfunctioning drivers, incorrect printer configuration, and more.
How do I print a document without saving it?
Go to Start→Devices and Printers (only Printers in Vista), right-click on nova PDF and select Printing Preferences.
In nova PDF's Printing Preferences window go to the Save tab.
Select Use predefined settings and click on Configure Save Options.

When you click on a PDF to view it in Reader, it downloads automatically and is saved to your Download location. This is usually in C:\Users\UserName\Downloads. So, clicking on Save is greyed out because it is already Saved.
