Great app, but even better customer service. I needed to cancel my membership for financial reasons, but I failed to do so before it renewed and my bank account was drafted. I submitted a request through the website for support and requested a refund. *** replied via email within an hour and had already issued the refund. Clearly they care about their customers, provide easy communication options and have fair policies in place.

How long does it take to get deed recorded?

What happens after a deed is recorded?
An owner legally transfers his property to another person on an instrument known as a deed. At the time of transfer, the owner usually records the deed by filing it in the land records of the property's county, but it is not required for it to legally transfer title to the new owner.

When you buy a home, it is usually the job of your title or escrow agent to file your original deed the document showing that you legally own the property in the appropriate government office in your county. In the United States, the (recorder) of deeds is often an elected county office and is called the county recorder. Is a deed effective when signed or recorded?
Contrary to normal expectations, the Deed DOES NOT have to be recorded to be effective or to show delivery, and because of that, the Deed DOES NOT have to be signed in front of a Notary Public. However, if you plan to record it, then it does have to be notarized as that is a County Recorder requirement.
Can a copy of a deed be recorded?
Recording. Legal policy mandates that a deed to real property be a matter of public record. Therefore, after delivery and acceptance, a deed must be properly recorded. The original copy of a deed is returned to the owner once it has been duplicated, recorded, and filed in the office of the recorder.

The recording fee for a deed might be $12 in one county and then $15 in another. Some agencies charge by the size of the document. For instance, a land record instrument might have a $60 fee for the first page, then $5 per page after that.
