To create a Text Style, select a text layer, and choose Layer Create new Text Style from the menu, or click the text that reads No Text Style in the Inspector and choose To create new Text Style from the menu.

Once selected, you'll be prompted to give your text style a name before the style is created.
To do so, once again Cmd+click on the object that uses the style you want to edit, and select the new style from the menu on the right. Make sure you're only selecting the item with the style you want to change.
Layer Styles allow you to save a combination of styling attributes to use again on other layers. Once created, you can select a shape or group and pick how to style it from a dropdown of predefined options. No need for an eyedropper, plus you get to name them, which makes them an upgrade from document color swatches.
Select Plugins > Style Master > Rename Text Styles or Plugins > Style Master > Rename Layer Styles to bring up the renaming dialog: The left side of the dialog controls the renaming process, and the right side displays a live preview of how the styles will be renamed.
To change a color this way, choose Edit Find and Replace Color from the menu (or press Option-Command-F). Click the Find button to select one of the colors you're using in your design, then choose your new color from the color picker after clicking Replace.
To change the color of the sketch in your display, go to the FeatureManager design tree, right click Sketch > Sketch Color. This will take you to the Sketch/Curve Color property manager (see image below). Inside the property manager, you can set any desired color for the sketch.
Tap-drag within the diamond to change the saturation and luminance. Tap-drag within the ring to change the hue. Tap HSL, RGB, or, then tap-drag the sliders to change or Randomize the values. Tap, then select a color from your canvas.
To create a Symbol, select a group, Dartboard, or a selection of layers and choose To create Symbol in the toolbar, or choose Layer Create Symbol in the menu. Give your Symbol a name and choose whether to send its master version to a separate Symbols page or keep it on the page you're currently looking at.
Creating a symbol in Sketch With the desired item(s) selected, click the Create Symbol icon in the toolbar, or select Layer>Create Symbol in the menu. If you've got a group selected, you can also right-click in the Layers List and select Create Symbol.
