pdfFiller.com gave me faith in online… pdfFiller.com gave me faith in online companies. I have no idea what I was trying to accomplish, but had signed up for a 30 day trial. I never used the program, just must have been sleep working. Anyhow, I was so surprised when I got the notification that I had just bought a year subscription. I was beating myself up and trying to figure out how I could be so unaware. I first tried to call. The phone was endlessly busy, I thought wow I just lost $122 (I paid in Canadian funds). Anyhow, I thought I may as well try sending an email. I could not believe it!!!! The response was almost immediate. Max, took care of everything. He issued a refund, and let me know he had cancelled any future subscription. I was in absolute shock. If I had a need for pdfFiller, in that moment, I would have signed up for years. Symbols. Symbols is a powerful feature in Sketch that allows you to reuse elements easily across your document's Dartboards and Pages, or even multiple documents. A Symbol is made up of two parts: a master, which takes the appearance of an Artboardand an instance, which is a flattened representation of the master.
When you create a Symbol, Sketch creates both a master and an instance of it. You can create as many instances of the same Symbol as you like, but you'll only ever have one master. If you choose To send Symbol to Symbols page, you'll see a new page above the Layer List called Symbols. In here, you'll find your master.
Creating a symbol in Sketch With the desired item(s) selected, click the Create Symbol icon in the toolbar, or select Layer>Create Symbol in the menu. If you've got a group selected, you can also right-click in the Layers List and select Create Symbol.
