For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
The first requirement for an SSL certificate is evidence that the Web domain -- the “.com” name -- is the applicant's legal property. For this, the issuing organization uses the domain's “Whops” database entry.
The primary reason why SSL is used is to keep sensitive information sent across the Internet encrypted so that only the intended recipient can access it. When an SSL certificate is used, the information becomes unreadable to everyone except for the server you are sending the information to.
If you don't have the SSL certificate, a secure connection cannot be established, which means, your company information will not be digitally connected to a cryptographic key. SSL Certificate has the following information: Name of the holder. Serial number and expiration date.
SSL certificates are used to secure data transfers, credit card transactions, logins and other personal information. They provide security to customers and make visitors more likely to stay on a website for longer periods of time.
Yes, it is definitely worth it's spending the extra money on an Extended Validation (Green Bar) SSL Certificate. There are many advantages of getting an EV SSL Certificate. Your website will rank higher in search engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Bing) if it has an SSL Certificate installed.
Conclusion: SSL Certificates are no longer optional with Google. Purchasing and installing SSL is no longer something that online business owners can ignore. Google Chrome is set to mark sites as insecure if they do not follow the steps above.
Website owners purchase SSL certificates through Certification Authorities. CA's are trusted entities that manage and issue security certificates and public keys that are used for communication in a public network. There are three different types of SSL certificates. Each provides a different level of security.
SSL certificates are used to create an encrypted channel between the client and the server. Transmission of such data as credit card details, account login information, any other sensitive information has to be encrypted to prevent eavesdropping.
