It was hard to figure out how to get started, and I made some mistakes in the beginning. I saved two files too soon and now I don't know how to erase them because when I try it says if I delete it it will no longer be shared. Is it okay to delete it anyway?

Customer Service Is Great
I used this service while at work and as a functional feature it is great, does what one needs it to do. However, as sometimes happens, I needed to charge this to my personal banking account at the time. She was very helpful, diligent in helping me locate my details, and took her time to reassure me that the service subscription had ended and evening was a-ok. How do I encrypt a PDF on a Mac?
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to password-protect.
Choose File > Export, then select Encrypt. You can also enter a new name for the PDF if you want to create a pass worded copy and keep the original PDF unencrypted.
Type a password, then retype it to verify the password.
Click Save.
How can I reduce the file size of a PDF on a Mac?
Open the PDF file that you want to reduce in size. Double click it, and it should open in Preview, the default PDF viewer in macOS.
Pull down the File menu and select Export.
Choose the submenu next to Quartz Filter and choose To reduce File Size.
Save the new reduced version of the PDF as usual by hitting Save.
Can I edit a secured PDF?
If a PDF document is secured, it is not supposed to be edited unless you are the author. Contact the author or the creator of the PDF document to edit it.
