Shift+Space is the keyboard shortcut to select an entire row. Ctrl+Space is the keyboard shortcut to select an entire column.
Select one or more rows and columns Or click on any cell in the column and then press Ctrl + Space. Select the row number to select the entire row. Or click on any cell in the row and then press Shift + Space. To select non-adjacent rows or columns, hold Ctrl and select the row or column numbers.
When you press the Shift+Space shortcut the first time it will select the entire row within the Table. Press Shift+Space a second time, and it will select the entire row in the worksheet. The same works for columns. Ctrl+Space will select the column of data in the Table.
Select text by using the keyboard Note: To select an entire document, press CTRL+A. Place the insertion point at the beginning of the word, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW. Move the pointer to the end of the word, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT ARROW.
* Select Line Hold CTRL+SHIFT and press the left/right arrow keys to select all the way to the beginning or end of the current line.
Select an entire line of text by holding down the “Shift” key and pressing “End”, if you are at the beginning of the line, or “Home” if you are at the end of the line. Select an entire paragraph by placing your cursor at either the beginning or the end of that paragraph.
Line delete Ctrl + Shift + L. Line cut Ctrl + L. Line copy Ctrl + Shift + T (changed to Ctrl + Shift + X in newer Notepad++)
Select the top-most cell in the desired range. Hold down CTRL (or if using a Mac COMMAND) and SHIFT on the keyboard and then press the down arrow key. This will select all the cells in the range as long as there are no empty cells in the range.
