How do I send a document via SMS?
Open a new message and click on the attachment button. Choose your desired file format in the new window. Next, pick the picture or file (depending on your operating system) you want to send. Insert your recipient and text and there you go!
How do I send a file via text message?
Compose a text message as you normally do.
Touch the Action Overflow or Menu icon, and choose the Insert or Attach command.
Choose a media attachment from the pop-up menu.
If you like, compose a message to accompany the media attachment.
Touch the Send icon to send your media text message.
Can I send PDF via text?
Technically, you can send a PDF in a text message. Rather than sending as an SMS message, it becomes a multimedia message much like a photo or video. This requires loading the entire PDF into the message, however, which is not practical and some phones will block this process if the file is too large.

How do I attach an email to a text message?
Open you're texting app on your phone.
In the recipient field, enter an email address where you would normally type in a phone number.
Write your message as normal and send it. Your cell phone provider will convert your message into an email.
How big of a file can you send via text?
Once again, we'll reiterate that in order to send a video directly in a text message, the file must be 1 MB or less. If your file size is larger than that, you can attempt to compress it.
Does SMS allow attachments?
You can attach any file format. The size of the individual file must not exceed 8MB.
How to send files via text on iPhone?
Touch and hold the file, then tap Share. Tip: To send a smaller version of the file, tap Compress before you tap Share. Then touch and hold the compressed version of the file (identified as a zip file), and tap Share. Choose an option for sending (for example, AirDrop, Messages, or Mail), then tap Send.
