For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Open the Event Viewer (event. MSC). In the left pane, right-click on the target event log and select Properties. Beside Maximum Log Size, enter the maximum size in kilobytes that the event log can grow to.
The default Windows event log maximum file size is 20 MB, and once it reaches the maximum size, new events will overwrite old events which is the default behavior in any Windows operating systems.
2.39. States The main Event Viewer log files record numerous events and these are usually only helpful for a period of 10 /14 days after the event. You need to retain reports for a reasonable time to be able to identify recurring errors.
Your log size reflects the number of 'slots' that are reserved for you in the StatCounter database. Every time someone views a page on your site, one 'slot' is populated with information on that page load.
The events are stored by default in “C:\\Windows\\System32\\wine\\Logs” (. Evt, Evtx files). If you can locate them, you can simply open them in the Event Viewer application.
On a target server, navigate to Start Windows Administrative Tools (Windows Server 2016) or Administrative Tools (Windows 2012 R2 and below) Event Viewer. Navigate to Event Viewer tree Windows Logs, right-click Security and select Properties. Make sure Enable logging is selected.
Adjusting Event Viewer Settings To adjust the settings for a log file: Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Event Viewer. In the console tree, right-click the appropriate log file, and then click Properties. Click the General tab.
Open the Group Policy Management Editor on the domain controller, browse to Computer Configuration Policies Administrative Templates Windows Components Event Log Service. Select the log you need. Edit Specify the maximum log file size setting — its value is usually set to 4194240 KB.
