some forms are not as well created. would be nice to be able to tab between fields. or when clicking in fields that should all be within the same horizontal line it would be nice if they automatically lined up rather than having to be moved like individual text boxes.

If you want to highlight a whole line of text, move your cursor to the start of the line, hold the Shift key, and then press the down arrow. You may also use the shortcut key combination Shift+End. Tip: If you want to highlight all text, press the shortcut key Ctrl+A.
Select the text you want to highlight. Choose Insert > Highlight (from the Insert menu at the top of your screen). The Insert button on the Numbers toolbar doesn't have the Highlight command.
Select one or more cells. In the Format sidebar, click the Cell tab. Click Conditional Highlighting, then click Add a Rule. Click a type of rule (for example, if your cell value will be a number, select Numbers), then click a rule. ... Enter values for the rule.
Select the text you want to highlight. Choose Insert > Highlight (from the Insert menu at the top of your screen). The Insert button on the Numbers toolbar doesn't have the Highlight command.
Change the cell borders: In the Border section of the sidebar, click a border layout button below Border to choose which borders you want to format. ... Change the background: In the Fill section of the sidebar, click the color well, then select a fill option.
To select a single cell, click it. To select a range of multiple adjacent cells, click a cell at any corner of the range you want and then drag the mouse to the opposite corner of the range. To select a column of cells, click the alphabetic heading button at the top of the column.
Conditional formatting rules are part of the 'Style' of the cell. Select the cell, press option-command-C to Copy Style. Select the target cell(s) and press option-command-V to Paste Style.
Select the text to remove highlighting, or press Ctrl+A to select all the text. Go Home and select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color. Select No Color.
Select the text that you want to remove highlighting from, or press Ctrl+A to select all the text. Go Home and select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color. Select No Color.
Select the Clear Formatting Option There are lots of ways that users can format text in MS Word. As such, try removing the highlighting by selecting the text and clicking the Clear Formatting option on the Home tab. Users can also select the text and press Ctrl + Space to remove its formatting.
