I am just learning about this program. So far it is easy and appears secure. I have initially been using the redaction/ blackout feature for several PDF files that I am sending to a client and it has been very effective. I am impressed with the "save" feature in that it allows you to save the edited file in a different format, I.e. Word.

The Network for Public Education, an advocacy group, released a report Friday that found more than 35 percent of charter schools never opened or ended up closing down in that time frame, The Washington Post reported.

Charter schools are not better than public schools. The significant body of research on charters shows they generally do no better and often do worse than traditional public schools. Charter schools are not a pathway out of poverty. There's no evidence charters produce better long-term outcomes for students.
They contend that charters inadequately serve children with special needs. Charter schools suspend children with disabilities at a higher rate than public schools, and there have been many cases of inadequacy due to a lack of resources, experience, and insensitivity.
California has had the highest number of charter school closures with 187, but as the nation's largest state has also given life to the highest number of charters in any state, totaling 941 in the 2010-2011 school year. Nearly 1,100 charter schools have been approved in the state, and 17 percent of those have closed.
Sudden closure of charter schools is not unusual. The Center for Media and Democracy found that about 2,500 charter schools closed between 2000 and 2013. Some of them closed at the end of the school year, some never opened in the first place, and some closed abruptly in the middle of the year.
California state board votes to shut down 2 charter schools. The California State Board of Education has voted to shut down two charter schools in Los Angeles run by a nonprofit that is under investigation by the U.S. Department of Education and the inspector general for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
We can infer that, in most of these cases, schools closed because of a lack of funds or because the funds weren't managed well. Charter School Capital is proud to support The Center for Education Reform and other transformational organizations that support charter schools across the United States.
