Tap the vertical ellipsis () in the top right, then tap “Nicknames.” Tap your chosen contact, then type the nickname out. Finally, tap “Save.” You can also change the nickname from the thread itself when you or someone else changes a name, with the “Edit” link instead of “Change” from the regular Messenger app.
Open Messenger. Tap a conversation. Tap the Settings icon. Tap Nicknames. Select a name. Type a nickname. Tap Set.

Only you and other one who chat with you, can see “Nicknames in messenger”.
Get into the Facebook Messenger app and choose the tab for Settings in the bottom right. Choose Notifications, then Show Previews. From here, you can turn the feature off.
To do this, you can follow these easy steps: Step 1: Launch the Settings app and select Messenger. Step 2: Tap Show Previews and choose Never. Step 3: Now, all future notification previews should be hidden from the Lock screen. See the example below.
To do this, head to Settings > Notifications and tap the app you want to hide from your lock screen. Toggle the Show on Lock Screen slider to off. You'll have to do this for each app you want to hide from your lock screen.
