When a user wants to work on a document in Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio or one of the Office Web Apps, they open it from SharePoint Server, as usual. If another user already has the document open, both users can edit the document at the same time.
Open the Word document you want to add the PDF to. Click Insert > Object > Create from File. Browse for the PDF you want to insert. Click Okay.
Start collaborating on PDFs. Select the Share With Others button in the top toolbar. Add the email addresses of your recipients. Select Allow Comments and add a deadline, if necessary. Select Send.
