Sync Your Chrome Bookmarks on Android & iOS Open Chrome on your smartphone. Tap the More menu (three vertical dots) on the top right of any webpage. Tap Settings. Tap your profile picture at the top of the Settings page.
Open Chrome on your computer. At the top right, click the More menu (three vertical dots) and select Settings. Click Sync. Toggle off Sync everything. Toggle off every item except Bookmarks. Open Chrome on your smartphone. Tap the More menu (three vertical dots) on the top right of any webpage.
On a trusted computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More. Settings. Under “You and Google,” click Sync and Google services. Under “Sync,” click Manage Sync. Turn off “Sync everything.” Turn off any data you don't want synced to your account.
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app. To the right of the address bar, tap More. Tap your name. Tap Sync. Tap the account you want to sync to. Choose Combine my data.
In Chrome, go to Settings > Advanced sync settings (under the Sign in section) and change the sync settings so that Bookmarks aren't synced, if they currently are set to sync. Close Chrome. Back in the Chrome user data folder, find another “Bookmarks” file without an extension.
Connect the USB to your new computer and open Chrome. Click the 3 dots and move the mouse to point Bookmarks. Then select Import bookmarks and settings, select “HTML bookmarks” and click “Import” to continue. Click “Choose File” and then select the HTML bookmark file to import to your Chrome.
Open your phone's Settings app. Tap Accounts. If you don't see “Accounts,” tap Users & accounts. If you have more than one account on your phone, tap the one you want to sync. Tap Account sync. Tap More. Sync now.
