Board Certified Behavior Analysts (CBA) must possess the minimum of a Master’s degree, meet requirements for either graduate-level coursework (225 hours) or college-level teaching and research in behavior analysis, meet experience requirements, and pass the Behavior Analyst Certification Examination.
How are CBA supervision hours calculated?
Experience Hours per Supervisory Period min of 20 hrs. — max of 130 hrs. *The supervision percentage is calculated by dividing the supervised hours by the total experience hours.
How do I start CBA supervision hours?
You must have completed at least 500 hours of supervised independent fieldwork that meets current Experience Standards. This experience must have started once you completed 10 years of postdoctoral experience (not before your coursework began, as stated in the Experience Standards).
