For people who are not that good in technology like me (you are not to blame), it was a bit difficult to find a website where I could fill important documents to send via internet in a safe manner. After a while, I found your website and once I figured out how to save and send the documents I can say that it is a good website. My recommendation is to make it even easier to access and follow directions for seasoned people like me. Thanks

What is consent in photography? People have a basic right to integrity, to make their own decisions about their bodies. Consent is someone's agreement for another person to do something that would violate their integrity if it were done without their approval.
In general, in public places it's not illegal to take someone's photograph unless it's somewhere with an expectation of privacy, like a public restroom. If you're walking down the street and someone takes your picture, that's almost surely legal.
When Do You Need a Photo Release Form? An image release form is required when the image will be used for commercial purposes. A simple way to determine if the usage is commercial is to ask yourself if the image is generating money; creating sales; or promoting a product, event, or idea.
This type of form includes the information of both involved parties, details of the photos taken, signatures, and the date. The second kind is used for minor subjects, and must be signed by the subject's parent or guardian. This type of photo release is often called a model release form.
An image release form is required when the image will be used for commercial purposes. If so, you definitely need a picture release form. If the image is being used for editorial purposes, accompanying a news article or journalism piece, a standard photo release form isn't necessary.

The general answer is no you don't need a release when photographing a public location, however, it is always best to error on side of caution and obtain a model release. This may not always be feasible and is appropriate to photograph even without a release in the case of street photography.
In the United States, a photographer can get in trouble for using someone's likeness commercially without a release form from the subject. Likewise, it is illegal for a client to commercially use images from a photographer without a photo release form.
A model release is needed from each person whose likeness appears in a photograph that is used for advertising or trade (business) purposes when the person is identifiable. Look at the photograph and the person(s) in it and ask these questions: If the answer to question #1 is No, then you do not need a release.
I think a fair summary is no, you don't NEED a model release under UK law to take or use (most) photos. Getting one signed could make your life easier in the future when using the image. Especially if you intend to submit it to any picture library, or for international publication.
A Photo Print Release Form Template is a release agreement between the client and the photographer regarding printing the capture photos. It is important for this form to be signed by both the client and the photographer/photography company because this will protect the ownership and license of the photos.
Printing Rights Having printing rights means you have the right to print unlimited images for personal use. We, as well as many other photographers, offer a print release form to all our couples. With a print release you CAN: print your images for personal use at a lab of your choice. Post them on social media.
Prices of print releases vary from photographer to photographer. For instance, if a photographer/studio is charging a sitting fee of $1,500 they may include the print release free of charge. However, if a photographer/studio is only charging $49 for a sitting fee their print release could cost hundreds of dollars.
