Great software for the money Great software for the money. Has helped tremendously with our business needs. The only thing I would change is the LinktoFill. This gets confusing due to saving a file when you make updates to it and then you end up with having the two files. there should be an option to update exsiting file. Besides that, great program.

Does a Power of Attorney Need Both Signatures? Most states do not require the power of attorney (POA) to have both signatures as only the principal is required to sign. The person bestowing the authority is the principal, and the person appointed to act is the agent, sometimes called the attorney-in-fact.
Step 1: Bring Your Power of Attorney Agreement and ID. Step 2: Determine the Preferred Signature Format. Step 3: Sign as the Principal. Step 4: Sign Your Own Name. Step 5: Express Your Authority as Attorney-in-Fact. Step 6: File the Documentation Somewhere Safe.
A POA grants authority to a person to perform certain acts on behalf of another person. The person who is executing the POA is called the executing and the person to whom power is granted is called general power of attorney (GPA) holder or beneficiary.
A Medical Power of Attorney is a document signed by a competent adult giving an agent, a trusted person, the authority to make health care and medical decisions when the principal (the person signing the Medical Power of Attorney) is no longer able to make them and a doctor so certifies.

The proper way to sign as power of attorney is to first write the principal's signature. This shows that you're acting on the principal's behalf, and not your own. And remember to use the principal's full legal name.

Consult the Principal If they're of sound mind, explain your concerns about the Agent to the Principal. Approach the Agent Through your attorney, request that the Agent step down if the Principal will not revoke the POA.
No need for a Judge to be involved. A POA is signed and notarized. It's generally effective upon signing. Have an attorney review if unsure of what powers were granted.
The Principal can override either type of POA whenever they want. However, other relatives may be concerned that the Agent (in most cases a close family member like a parent, child, sibling, or spouse) is abusing their rights and responsibilities by neglecting or exploiting their loved one.
Procreation is the official term for signing for someone else. This term is taken from the Latin word procurer meaning to take care of. Now, when signing on someone else's behalf, the signature is preceded by p.p. standing for per procurationem.
Anyone can endorse your signature on a check if you ask them to, and in most states, this is perfectly legal. The same might apply if your elderly father is no longer able to sign his own name.
Perfectly legal to sign someone else's signature, with permission. Forgery is only a crime if the signing is with the intent to defraud. Now, if your signature is going to be notarized, it *is* a crime to pretend to be someone you are not.
Forgery refers to faking a signature without permission, making a false document or another object, or changing an existing document or another object without authorization.
