Overall a very positive experience. I think customers should be given the option of a low-cost limited one-time use of the site with full features, rather than forcing customers to subscribe for a full month or year with automatic renewal.

#3. Confirm Your Agreement. #4. Identify and Divide Assets and Debts. #5. Create a Parenting Plan for Custody and Visitation. #6. Agree on Child Support and Spousal Support (Alimony) #7. Polishing Your Agreement.
Most courts have forms or templates you can use to write your divorce settlement agreement. Ask the clerk of the court where you're filing for divorce. You may also be able to download forms from the court's website.
What should I include in a divorce settlement agreement? Your divorce settlement agreement should cover everything that is important to you, including custody of your children, child support payments, alimony, and the separation of your property, such as your family home, vehicles, and other assets.
There are many factors to consider, including assets, incomes, living expenses, inflation, alimony, child support, taxes, retirement plans, investments, medical expenses and health insurance costs, and child-related expenses such as education.
A judge can order your wages garnished if you fail to make payments required by the divorce order. Money will be taken from your pay check to put towards your past due payments before you receive it. There are legal limits on how much money can be garnished.
When a personal injury matter settles, there are two primary ways the settlement can be paid out for an adult claimant: a lump sum cash payment, or a structured settlement. The way you use or invest your settlement funds may also have an impact within your separation or divorce.
Even though it may not be common, there are circumstances under which a divorce settlement can be reopened. State law allows for a settlement to be reopened when a party engages in misrepresentations or fraud, or in other limited circumstances.
File your motion. Take your originals and copies to the clerk's office of the court that issued your divorce decree and file your motion to modify. The clerk will stamp your originals and copies “filed" with the date after you pay the filing fee, usually around $100.
If you and your spouse agreed on a settlement during your original divorce proceedings, appealing the decision can be next to impossible. Your next option is to have your divorce agreements modified. With the help of a family law attorney, you can file a motion to modify the divorce decree in light of new evidence.
Fraud. Fraud is one of the most viable grounds for reopening a divorce case or appealing a divorce decree. Mistake. Secondly, you may also reopen your divorce case if you have realized that you made a mistake that ended up affecting the outcome of the divorce. Coercion. Unfairness.
A divorce decree is a Judgment, and as such is not a claim subject to any Statute of Limitations.
Defiance of Support Orders: If your ex isn't complying with court-ordered child support or spousal support you will need to hire a divorce attorney to file a petition for contempt. Defiance of Visitation Order: Defiance of Marital Debt Payment:
If spousal support is owed under a court order or an agreement, a failure to pay the support owing is a breach of that order or agreement, and, in the case of orders, it can be contempt of court as well.
Once signed, the Divorce Agreement becomes a binding contract, which means both spouses are obligated to follow its terms. It will then be incorporated into your final divorce decree and become a binding court order; if either of you violates the order later on, you could be held in contempt of a court.
The purpose of a divorce settlement agreement is to memorialize any agreements reached between divorcing (or separating) spouses as to child custody, child support, alimony (also referred to as spousal support or maintenance), and the division of property.
