I absolutely LOVE the convenience PDF filler provides for our patients, as well as our front desk staff. The only thing that would improve the service would be a guide that indicates to the patient that they missed a section, so they know to keep scrolling to complete all the forms.

I consider it a great achievement that the plugin seems to work, even when it encounters strange circumstances. For all that this is a bit ungainly, there were some things I wished worked a little better, but overall quite good.

What is reduced sign on?
A reduced sign-on system is any mechanism intended to reduce the frequency with which users are prompted to provide credentials as they authenticate into a system. Eliminating some or all of these login prompts is referred to as “single sign-on” though more accurately it is “reduced sign-on.”
What is the difference between SSO and LDAP?
The difference that can be talked about when looking at these two applications is that LDAP is an application protocol that is used to crosscheck information on the server end. SSO, on the other hand, is a user authentication process, with the user providing access to multiple systems.
Can LDAP be used for SSO?
As mentioned by other answers, you can't implement SSO by using just the LDAP. On a high level, Laps are used to store users, groups, entitlements etc. LDAP is a directory access protocol, and although it provides a way for clients to authenticate using the LDAP bind operation, it doesn't provide for single sign-on.
