PDF filler is a good program that allows easy filling of PDF documents. I appreciated it more before I tried to use the option to share documents with other people. I'm not sure what the original intent was for this product, so I do not wish to sound judgmental. As far as filling out the documents and downloading them or printing them is wonderful. When I started trying to share the documents with others to fill out and have them sign them, it became quite a bit more limited. Since that may not have been its original intent, I remain compassionate towards the limitations it has.

Looking at Fair Market Rent, Payment Standard and Family Income. Section 8 will determine how much they will pay for each voucher based on a number of factors. ... The amount of the Section 8 voucher may be more or less than the amount the landlord could receive for the rental on the open market.
If a Section 8 household earns $1,200 a month and chooses to rent a house at its area's fair market rent or below, it pays, in most cases, approximately $360 a month in rent (30 percent of $1,200). HUD covers the remainder.
While federal law prohibits you from charging more rent to Section 8 tenants than you would unsubsidized renters, you can charge more than HUD's fair market statistics. Bear in mind, however, that HUD does not allow Section 8 families to spend more than 40 percent of their household incomes on rent and utilities.
In general, Section 8 voucher recipients must contribute 30% of their household income or at least $50 for rent and utilities, whichever is higher. The voucher covers the rest of those costs, up to a limit (payment standard) set by the PHA.
Monthly Gross Income and Allowances Divide the annualized gross household income by 12 to get the family's monthly income. ... Divide $16,000 by 12 to get gross monthly income of $1,333. You can deduct certain Section 8-approved allowances from the annual gross income to get an annual adjusted income.
In most circumstances, your rent will be 30 percent of your monthly adjusted income; HUD covers the other 70 percent. The amount of rental assistance you qualify for is calculated by dividing your AGI by 12 and then multiplying it by 30 percent. The result of which is called the total tenant payment.

Section 8 vouchers are portable. So, once you receive a voucher, you can take it anywhere in the United States that has a public housing authority which can administer the voucher.
Under the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, tenants will typically pay 30 percent of their monthly income toward rent. The voucher will cover the rest. Individuals must find housing that accepts Section 8 vouchers and meets program requirements, including a physical inspection.
A family that is issued a housing voucher is responsible for finding a suitable housing unit of the family's choice where the owner agrees to rent under the program. ... A housing subsidy is paid to the landlord directly by the PHA on behalf of the participating family.
