The conversion from Pdf to word was the smoothest I've seen. There are very few errors. AMAZING! After reviewing the document I noticed that the conversion dropped the letter F. If there were two f's in a word the conversion dropped one of them.

The winning male may run the 5K course somewhere between 13 and 15 minutes and the winning female may run it in the 16 to 19-minute range. Some walkers may take over an hour to finish. Most people feel good about finishing in the 20 to 25-minute range (6:26/mile to 8:21/mile pace).
Average time and pace Everyday runners can aim to complete a mile in about 9 to 12 minutes. This means you'll finish a 5K in about 28 to 37 minutes. Walkers can expect to complete a mile in about 15 to 20 minutes.
Generally, many runners consider a good finishing time for a 5k to be anything under 25 minutes, which means keeping an 8-minute-mile pace. If this is your first 5k, an 8-minute-mile pace might be fairly aggressive, depending on how long you have trained, how old you are, and so forth.
As a general rule, many runners consider a good finishing time for a 5K to be anything under 25 minutes. To manage that would mean running at a pace of around 8 minutes per mile, which would mean finishing in 24 minutes, 51 seconds (24:51).
After a while, a measly 3.1 miles doesn't seem very far. And it's not most of us can run a 5k in 30 minutes or less. If you're slower, your rate of improvement is going to be dramatic if you train smart. So hang in there you'll be much faster very soon!

Target Race Pace 9:40 per mile / 6:00 per km for a Sub 30 minute 5k. To run a sub 30 minute 5k you will need to be able to run at a target race pace of 9:40 minutes per mile pace for the full 3.1 mile/5k distance.
In conclusion, for high school a 32 minute 5k is not competitive. However, depending on your age and current fitness level, a 32 minute 5k could be great. Good luck, and keep running!
”Busting the 25 minute (5k) barrier marks you as a “serious” runner. It requires a commitment to more mileage and focused workouts, and can take years to achieve.” Yes!!
A 5K race is 3.1 miles. So, covering the distance in 25 minutes or fewer means running at a pace of about eight minutes per mile. For many runners, that represents a challenge but it's certainly possible.
