Seems user friendly for the most part. It would be nice if the documents could be automatically opened in Drive without all of the signing in process each time

Amazing software
Amazing software, Unreal flexibility for the price. Only thing I would change is possibly the phone numbers as we are not all in US. All in all, saves hours a week.

What happens if you notarize something incorrectly?
What happens if a notary makes a mistake? The National Notary Association suggests that even the smallest mistake could have dire consequences. The notarized document could get rejected. A mistake that results in a rejection can result in late fees and penalties on the part of the client.
Can notaries get in trouble?
Notary trouble The answer is yes, but they generally don't get caught. If you are a notary public, it is your responsibility to know your state notary laws, and keep up to date with law changes. Notary laws change little by little, year by year.
Can notaries go to jail?
Notarizing a document in a California, or Los Angeles jail can be done. The inmate must have a jail wristband, or state identification that matches the name on the document.
Is it illegal to lie to a notary?
But if you lie on a notary form, it can still be considered perjury. While the Notary is only responsible for verifying the identity of the signer, providing false information about identity makes it perjury. It's true that the notary only verifies that the signer is, in fact, who they are signing that they are.
Can a notary notarized a paper without a person being present?
In no jurisdiction would it be legal to notarize a document without the signing person present. It is impermissible to notarize the document after the person has signed. The entire point of having a notary is so that the notary can attest that the person who is alleged to have signed, actually did sign the document.
What happens if you fake a notary?
Making false statements in notary advertising is illegal, and the penalty for California notaries is $1500 per incident. Additionally, such a notary's commission could be suspended, revoked, or there could be a refusal to issue a commission.
Can you fake a notary stamp?
There are so many vectors where a signature or document could be forged: it could be a fake notary, a real notary that gets duped by a fake ID, a real person signing in their real name who does not have the authority they say they do, documents with a fake notary stamp, faked documents, and so on.
How do you know if a notary is real?
Find a notary public. They can easily be found by searching at the American Society of Notaries. Most tax preparation companies also have a notary public available. Make sure the notary is authorized to notarize your documents by requesting to see the actual stamp imprint and the validity year.
