What can I use to glue wood together?
But regular wood glue is the best wood glue for raw wood-to-wood joinery. Most wood glues are a type of polyvinyl acetate (PVA wood glue). Also, sometimes called carpenter's glue, wood glue is formulated to penetrate wood fibers, making glue joints that are stronger than the wood itself.
What is the strongest glue for wood repair?
One study showed that PVA is actually the strongest wood glue for regular wood joints, even being stronger than the wood itself, but some also say otherwise. Some would argue that polyurethane glue is the best wood glue since it is waterproof, accepts wood stains, and sands well in thin coatings.

How do you bond wood glue?

Is wood glue or Gorilla Glue better?

PVA is inexpensive, easy to clean up, and the higher end glues are now waterproof and suitable for outdoor use. The bond on well-prepared wood is stronger than the wood itself.
