some forms are not as well created. would be nice to be able to tab between fields. or when clicking in fields that should all be within the same horizontal line it would be nice if they automatically lined up rather than having to be moved like individual text boxes.

One big feature that is missing, as is from many of these types of editing / fill in forms, is the basic "Cut","Copy", "Paste" functions. However once I got use to the program's idiosyncrasies, It has been quite helpful. Oh, one more thing, I think more detailed instruction by some useful examples of how the features can benefit in everyday design of a fill-able forms would make it that much more useful.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
MEASURING THE DIAMETER OF A LOG Always measure the diameter of the small end of the log. Read the scale stick directly from the end of the log, not obliquely from the side. The diameter of a log is always measured inside the bark. This measurement is called diameter inside of bark or d.i.b.
To use the scale, first measure the average diameter of the small end of the log inside the bark (in inches). Locate that row on the scale. Next, measure the length of the log (in feet). Move over on the scale to that length column.
Volume of Wood The volume can also be thought of as the area of the base times height with the base area being the area of a circle (A=r2). This formula assumes logs are perfect or near-perfect cylinders. Similarly, for cubic meters of volume, the radius and height must be in meters.
The three most common rules are the Doyle, Scribner Decimal C and International 1/4 -inch.
The stick is primarily used to measure the diameter of standing trees in inches, their height in 16-foot logs, and the volume they contain in board feet or cords. It can also be used to measure diameters of logs and estimate their volume.
Remember, diameter should be measured at 4½ feet from the ground (d.b.h.) on the uphill side of the tree (Figure 2a). ... Check the distance between your eye and stick to be sure it is 25 inches (Figure 2b).
Measure your arm reach. ... Now, determine arm reach for total and merchantable height measurements. ... Prepare your paper. ... Mark your scale for dB measurement. ... Mark your scale for measuring merchantable height. ... Mark your scale for measuring total height. ... Assemble your tree scale stick. ... Measure total height.
Tree Volume Estimation The board-foot content of any board may be determined by multiplying the length by the width by the thickness, all expressed in inches, and dividing by 144 cubic inches. The board foot is also the most common volume measure for trees and logs to be used for lumber and veneer.
The Doyle scale is the standard by which hardwood lumber is bought and sold. It estimates large or medium logs very close to the actual number but underestimates in smaller logs. Because it comes in below the price, this is the scale most log buyers want to use.
The three most common rules are the Doyle, Scribner Decimal C and International 1/4 -inch.
