I'm happy with it for the most part. I think it's BS that you allow the eraser to be used on the 1st document and only when the customer goes to use it again, do you mention that it's an upgrade is bad business!!!!!! There's another issue but at the moment it escapes me.

Well, I started with another type of editor on a free trial, got my card info, then it would not let me have my document. So got the pdfFiller and fantastic. Most easily understood no issues. Thanks for a great product.

What do you like best?
I like how easy it is to load my documents into pdfFiller & the multiple option for export when I'm finished.
What do you dislike?
Not a fan of the constant email verification especially since I've been using it for 3 years now & this is something just started in 2020 (it seems)
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I don't have a fax so its much easier for me to receive email documents, sign them with the signature feature in pdfFiller, and send directly to the recipient from the program. I get a notification, too, telling me my document has been downloaded. This has helped me a lot lately.

Which stores use the retail equation?
For those of you who don't know, The Retail Equation (TRE) is a third party company that ~27,000 stores used to monitor return status. These are semi popular stores such as Best Buy, Home Depot, Sephora, JC Penny, CVS, Burlington and more. TRE claims to use purchase / return information to reduce fraud and/or abuse.
Does Home Depot use the retail equation?
Home Depot said it only uses Retail Equation to track returns with no receipt.
How does the retail equation work?
Here's how it works: When a merchant uses The Retail Equation, and a consumer shows up to return an item, the cashier scans his or her driver's license. The system then does an instant check of this shopper's return history and then gives an approval, a warning or a do-not-accept message.

Why do stores check ID for returns?
According to TRE, the system is designed to identify fraudulent or abusive behaviors that are not typical of 99% of consumers. The one percent of consumers who get warned or denied exhibit return behaviors that mimic fraud or abuse or exhibit habits that are inconsistent with the retailer's return policy.
Do you need ID to return?
If an item is being returned without a receipt, then requiring an ID is justified as long as the information is not captured or stored somewhere. Usually, the customer is asked to fill out a short form and any information collected is only for the retailer's records and no other.
