A little difficult navigating. There is no clear description of what some of the functions are. Would be helpful to maybe add a description as you hover over a button, or at least give a description of what the function does when you click on it.

Kara was spectacular Kara was spectacular! I was having trouble merging 35 small PDFs into a single larger document. She walked me through all the steps, and I told her what I had done and where I had run into problems. When she could not find a solution for me that way, she offered to merge all the documents for me!!! I have been working on this family project for the last 12 months and this was the final step before I could get the finished document out to everyone. Now I can do that and put this phase of the project behind me! I salute you Kara!!!

Easy to use Easy to useAllows the user to do things like make forms fillable very quickly. The size of the fields I added were slightly bigger than I would like, but this was not a major problem. Otherwise, I think it's intuitive and pretty easy. My needs are fairly simple, though - just making a workbook fill-able by students working online.

It's alright I used it to complete a PDF, the only one that let me do it. I could complete a PDF I needed but that was for a game of Dungeons and Dragons that was done online as recreation with fellow students. I just tried the free trial and those things were kind of lacking but that's to be expected, nothing else though.

What data type can I use for a field if I have to store a page of text? You can use memo fields. They are text fields that are used to hold long pieces of text. No, you need to create different tables and categorize data to be stored in them.
When you create a database, by default the database opens in Table View. Click the Create Field column heading and type a name for the first field. The default field type is text. To change the field type, right-click the column heading for the field, then choose Field > Field Type.
Create or open a table in Data sheet view by right-clicking the table that you want in the Navigation Pane and then clicking Data sheet view from the shortcut menu. In the Add New Field column, enter the name of the field that you want to create. Enter data in the new field.
We discussed four main types of databases: text databases, desktop database programs, relational database management systems (RMS), and NoSQL and object-oriented databases. We also talked about two ways to categorize databases based on their logical design: operational databases and database warehouses.
Table is an object that is used to define and store data. When you create a new table, Access asks you to define fields which is also known as column headings. Each field must have a unique name, and data type.
Relational databases can also run queries that involve multiple databases. While early databases could only store text or numeric data, modern databases also let users store other data types such as sound clips, pictures, and videos.
