Not only did I find the product acceptable, but the Customer Service was wonderful, the fast response was the most surprising. My issue was resolved in a day or so ONLINE and included a refund. Keep in mind you cannot get that type of service in person At your local store.

What time do you have to stop driving with a permit?
Drivers with learner's permits may not drive between midnight and 6 a.m. unless supervised by a parent or guardian.
Can I drive with a permit by myself?
With your learner's permit, you are not allowed to drive by yourself. In fact, you must have someone in your car who is at least 21-years-old and has a valid driver's license. In addition, this person must be legally allowed to operate the type of vehicle you are driving.
What happens if you get pulled over with a permit alone?
A third point and your license is revoked for a year or until you turn 18. In other words, if you're pulled over more than once while driving with a learner's permit, you might find your driving privileges further restricted, or you might even lose your permit.
Can you drive by yourself with a permit at 21?
In California a few years ago there was a rule that if you have a permit and are over 21 you may drive alone with a learning permit. Now back in California, the law has changed and the reason one cannot drive with only a permit alone is because the insurance does not make the driver liable.
Can I drive by myself with a permit at 17?
You can drive a car when you are 17 and a work vehicle, for example, a tractor, when you are 16. Don't have a driving license or learner permit. Have a learner permit but drive your car without being accompanied by a qualified driver.
Can I drive with a permit with someone who is 18?
Your accompanying driver must be 18 years old or older and have a valid California DL. This person must be seated close enough to you that they are able to take control of the vehicle at any time. An instruction permit does not permit you to drive alone not even to a DMV field office to take the driving test.
Can I drive alone if I'm 18 with a permit?
Q: Is it legal to be 18 with a drivers permit and drive alone (off highway) If you're under 18 years old, your driver's permit only allows you to drive while supervised by a licensed driver who is 21 years old or older. Your supervisor can be: The (signer) of your Affidavit of Liability Guardianship (Form DR 2460).”
Who can be in the car with a permit?
With your permit you may practice driving with a parent, guardian, driving instructor or an adult 25 years of age or older. You may not drive your friends around in the car, especially not by yourself.
