Negates deciphering handwriting When filling out or reading an application or some other such document, it is hard to manage legibility. The ability to type directly into the fields of a PDF is a valuable option to avoid that. I wish you didn't have to create an account to use it. It would be better in my opinion if you could use the software with out having to do that.

Faxed transcripts will be considered unofficial. To be considered official, your transcript must come from your high school office, state department or institution by mail, email, or hand delivered in the original sealed envelope. Copies of the transcript from the student are not accepted.
Transcripts must be addressed to DIAS. Transcripts addressed to you, a program, school, or any address other than DIAS are not accepted. Transcripts must be mailed by your registrar. For security purposes, we cannot accept transcripts mailed by you or anyone other than the registrar.
Official transcript should be submitted by your counselor. If the counselor submits online, the transcript should be attached to your school forms. Otherwise, transcripts should be sent directly to the schools to which you are applying. Please contact each admissions' office for the exact address or procedure.
How does Electronic Transcript Exchange work? When you sign up for Electronic Transcript Exchange, you select the format(s) you want to use to send and/or receive electronic files. When someone sends a transcript to you, you will receive an email with a secure link where you can log on and retrieve the file.
Students can view and print unofficial transcripts through the Engage Student Self Service link. Unofficial transcripts differ from official transcripts. An unofficial transcript is not a legal document and can be viewed, printed, and saved by a student. It does not include a signature or seal.
What is the difference between an official and unofficial transcript? An unofficial and official transcript contain the same academic information. The official transcript is printed on special heat-sensitive security paper. An official transcript comes sealed in an envelope, marked as “official.”
Official paper transcripts are sent in a sealed, signature-stamped envelope. An electronic transcript is considered OFFICIAL if the intended party is the direct email recipient. An electronic transcript which is printed then re-scanned in an email is considered UNOFFICIAL.
An official transcript is a complete representation of a student's academic record. Official transcripts are printed on official transcript (green and white) paper. It must bear the embossed or raised college seal, date and the Registrar's signature.
