I was annoyed that I had to enter credit card info for a free trial. It makes me feel as if I'm being tricked into keeping your service. Very pleased with how the product works though.

The cost to trademark a logo with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is $$225600 as of January 2017, plus legal fees. You can register a trademark with your state for $50-$150, but federal registration offers a great deal more legal protection.
Fill out the application online on the official site of the United States Copyright Office. Besides, you can also submit the application in a paper form. Pay a registration fee (for the logo it's $39) with a card, electronic check or your deposit account with the U.S. Copyright Office.
To register a trademark, go to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Website, www.uspto.gov. Make sure someone else hasn't already registered the mark your category by checking the Trademark Electronic Search System database.
There is no requirement for you to register the logo or take any other measures to acquire trademark protection. Once your logo is in use, only you can use it. You can strengthen the legal standing of your trademark by registering it with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
You can not register a trademark for free. However, you can establish something known as a “common law trademark” for free, simply by opening for business. The benefit of relying on common law trademark rights is that it's free, and you don't need to do any specific work filling out forms, etc.
A logo helps customers recognize and identify the company and distinguish it from competitors. A logo is one of the most common forms a trademark takes. A company does not need to trademark its logo. Simply by using the logo in commerce, the company already has a trademark.
In short, you cannot use the logos of the NFL on anything. That is, you cannot use the logos without the express permission of the NFL.
