The PDF writer worked perfect for what I needed Pretty easy to use and worked just as advised. I needed this to fill out PDF documents vs. printing them out and hand writing them. In addition finish product is neat and looks professional. Don't have any negatives other than if it where free it would be even better, but the fee is small in relationship to what you gain.

Product Description. ANCHOR SEAL 2 is a hybrid of plant-based polymers and wax that protects the ends of green logs and lumber from end checking and splitting. AS2 controls the rate of moisture loss during air drying for hardwood, exotic hardwood decking and softwood.
Commercial, wax-based sealers are the real answer. They should also be put on a fresh cut and not wait till the wood has dried. But, they will seal the end of the wood better than home remedies.
ANCHOR SEAL® Classic is a premium wax emulsion end sealer for the prevention of end checks and drying splits in hardwood and softwood logs and lumber. By controlling the rate of moisture loss, up to 90% of end checks can be prevented.
Commercial, wax-based sealers are the real answer. They should also be put on a fresh cut and not wait till the wood has dried. But, they will seal the end of the wood better than home remedies.
Open the container of your polyurethane seal. Dip a brush into the polyurethane. Apply the polyurethane seal to the top and bottom of the stump with even brush strokes. Work the seal into the wood grain and along the edge where the bark is attached to the wood stump.
Coat the exposed end grain of the logs or boards with a thick layer of paint, varnish or a commercial green-wood sealer to prevent moisture from escaping too quickly. Wood loses moisture 10 to 15 times faster through the ends than it does through the faces.
To minimize the effects of this shrinking, you need to either seal or stabilize the wood fibers while the wood is still green. Wood turners often use a substance called Polyethylene Glycol (PEG). Rather than sealing wood, PEG works by displacing water so that the cells dry without shrinking.
