Tag Image PDF: full-featured PDF editor

The PDF is one of the most common document format for a variety of reasons. It's accessible from any device to share them between devices with different screens and settings. You can open it on any computer or smartphone running any OS — it'll appear exactly the same.

Security is another reason we would rather use PDF files for storing and sharing sensitive data and documents. PDF files can not only be password-protected, but analytics provided by an editing service, which allows document owners to identify those who’ve accessed their documents and track potential security breaches.

pdfFiller is an online document creating and editing tool that lets you create, edit, sign, and send PDF directly from your web browser tab. This website is integrated with major CRM software to sign and edit documents from Google Docs or Office 365. Work with the finished document for personal needs or share it with others by any convenient way — you'll get notified when someone opens and completes it.

Use powerful editing tools such as typing text, annotating, blacking out and highlighting. Add images to your PDF and edit its layout. Change a page order. Add fillable fields and send documents to sign. Collaborate with other users to complete the fields. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to cloud.

Complete any document with pdfFiller in four steps:

01
Browse for your document from the pdfFiller's uploader.
02
To edit the content of your document, click the 'Tools' tab and highlight, redact, or erase text.
03
Add input fields if you need any: pdfFiller supports text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists etc.
04

What do you like best?
No more printing and filling out forms by hand.
What do you dislike?
I used to be able to upload a signature from an iPhone photo, and it could be placed on a document in a way that it look like it was written there, and not a pasted photo. I liked this and cannot seem to do this anymore.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It's amazing how many forms still need to be filled out by hand in this age of tech and no typewriters. Printing documents, hand writing, then rescanning to a recipient is messy, time consuming and wastes ink and paper. Besides, make a mistake, and you need to start over with a new form. And don't get me started with "white out." PDFiller streamlines all this and results in a very neat, professional looking document. I do lots of contracts, and don't always get red-line drafts to work with. I can use PDFiller do do red-lining (word-processing changes to early drafts) and send them right back to the counter-parts. Then with the final draft the PDFiller signature feature allows me to initial or sign, and send - again without printing/rescanning. Since for many transactions e-transmitted signatures, as opposed to "wet" signatures, has become standard and legally acceptable the process is now a breeze. And if I still have to go back for further revisions the prior versions are all saved in PDFiller.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
A tagged PDF includes hidden accessibility markups that, when properly applied, help to optimize the reading experience of those who use screen readers and other assistive technology (AT). ... Tags provide a logical structure that governs how the document content is presented through assistive technology.
In Word or other Office applications, click File > Info. Within the Properties section, click in the Tags field, then enter the appropriate tags. PDF files do not include the option to add tags, but you can resolve that with third-party solutions.
Open File Explorer. Click Downloads. ... Right-click the file you'd like to tag and choose Properties. Switch over to the Details tab. At the bottom of the Description heading, you'll see Tags. ... Add a descriptive tag or two (you can add as many as you'd like). ... Press Enter when you're done. Press OK to save the change.
Open the Tags panel. Select View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panes >Tags. Examine the Tags panel. A tagged document will show tags and a structure tree descending from the root node. To fully expand the entire tree, Control + click on the root node labelled Tags (See Figure 12. Tags Panel Structure Tree Showing Tags).
Choose Tools > Accessibility. ... In the secondary toolbar, click Full Check. ... In the Report Options section, select options for how you want to view the results. ... Select a page range if you prefer to check individual pages of a document. ... Select one or more of the Checking Options.
Tagged PDF is a PDF file that contains meta-information around certain groups of PDF instructions inside a page content. This meta-information has many use cases: Text-extraction, content-reflow, document accessibility, geographic information in PDF containing maps, etc.
To know if a PDF document is tagged or not, go to the File menu and select Properties to show the Document Properties window (Figure 1). Under the Advanced section of the Description tab, you can see the status of the PDF if it is tagged or not.
