Great for my online classes! This has been a great tool for editing PDFs for my Anatomy class. The only problem is the "drawing" tool does not provide enough color options. It's very limited.

A high school diploma and experience in an office or legal setting are often the only requirements necessary for an entry-level position. Legal transcriptionists often receive on-the-job training from an attorney, paralegal, or office manager.
Step 1: Obtain a Certificate or Degree. Legal transcription requires knowledge of legal terminology and documentation. Step 2: Find Work as a Legal Transcriptionist or Court Reporter. Step 3: Become Licensed or Certified.
You can complete some programs in as little as five months or earn a certificate in legal transcription in as little as one year's full-time study. You can earn an associate degree in legal transcription technology in two years.
A high school diploma or equivalent is generally all that's required to enter one of these programs. In addition to prospective legal transcriptionists, a career diploma of this sort can be a competitive qualification for paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, and other professionals in this field.
A transcriptionist's salary is generally around $15, while an advanced transcriptionist earns around $25 to $30 per hour. With this rate, you can easily earn $1,500 every month if you work 2.5 hours per day for 24 days. According to PayScale, the median transcriptionists' salary is $15.22 per hour.
How Much Money Does a Legal Transcriptionist Make? Although the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) does not maintain a record of the salaries for legal transcriptionists specifically, but a majority of them earn between $20,000 and $60,000 per year with an average of about $26,400 as of 2018.
It is possible to earn money from home transcribing with no previous experience. However, the transcription pay on sites like Scribe is really low. Here's what I mean: Lots of transcriptionists go by the 1:4 rule, meaning 1 hour of audio should take 4 hours to transcribe.
