Tap the Menu icon (located in the upper-right). Tap Settings. Tap Notifications. Ensure 'Received notification' is checked then tap (check) Heads up notification to enable.
Simply long press the notification and switch the toggle to left to disable notification entirely. Alternatively, you can go to Settings > Apps and Notifications > Slide the toggle to left to disable for each app listed there.
Open the Settings app, then tap Sound & notification. Tap App notifications, then tap the name of the app you no longer want to see notifications for. Next, toggle the Allow peeking switch to the Off position it'll turn from blue to gray. Just like that, you will no longer receive heads-up notifications for that app.
Go to Settings > Sound and Notification > App Notifications. Tap the app you want to stop. Tap the toggle for Block, which will never show notifications from this app.
Open your phone's Settings app. Tap Apps & notifications. Under “Recently sent,” see apps that recently sent you notifications. You can turn off all notifications for a listed app. To pick specific categories of notifications, tap the app's name.

Open the Settings app and go to Apps & Notifications. Go to Notifications>Notifications. Tap the app you want to enable or disable. The app's Notifications screen will have its own dedicated Allow icon badge switch.
To turn off notifications on your iPhone, go to Settings → Notifications you'll see a list of your apps that can send you notifications. To turn off notifications for an app, tap on it and turn off the switch next to Allow Notifications.
