I love this tool
I love this tool. I shared it with my mom who still has to fax things and I did not want her leaving her home to fax at other businesses. I think a video on how to create more fillable boxes would be helpful. Although I figured it out, it took me about 30 minutes. I can imagine for even less tech savvy people it could take longer.

I had to use as a one -of to sign a document, but inadvertently signed up to a subscription. The website itself wasn't too clear, so no marks there. However, once i realised i was signed up and contacted the company via email, it was resolved with 2 emails over 2 days - from *********! And with me using my son's email address and forgetting i had done so. Very happy to get a refund. ******, *********

How many copies of a contract should be signed?
Copies: Each party needs its own copy of the agreement, with original signatures on it. Two copies with two signature pages should be prepared. Each party should sign both pages and then receive an original copy. Execution: Contracts aren't executed until both parties sign them.
Who keeps the original copy of a contract?
Each party should get an original signed copy of the contract for their files. That means if there are two parties to the contract, two identical contracts must be signed. One original copy of the contract should go to you, and one original copy should go to the other party.
Is a scanned copy of a signed document legal?
Having a scanned signature(s) on a document is valid. This has to be the case in a world where we are more likely to work with someone geographically far, than local. To reiterate, having a scanned signature on a contract is perfectly acceptable under law. But acceptance isn't the issue.
Is a copy of a contract enforceable?
Copies of electronic contracts, faxed versions of contracts, and scanned or electronically stored versions, are all good contracts and enforceable: although still capable of being rejected if proven unreliable.
How do you sign off a contract?
To “sign off” is informal speech meaning “to approve.” If I sign a contract, I am agreeing to the terms. If I “sign off” on a contract signed by others, it means I approve it, regardless of whether I write my name on something, or send an e-mail. It could be by signing the document, but not necessarily.
Are original signatures required on contracts?
To reiterate, having a scanned signature on a contract is perfectly acceptable under law. But acceptance isn't the issue. E-signatures, that are compliant with electronic signature laws, like DESIGN, have in-built anti-fraud technologies to ensure that the electronic version of signatures cannot be taken advantage of.
Do contracts require signatures?
A written contract must be signed by both parties to be legally enforceable. However, some types of oral contracts are also valid and do not require signatures from either party.
Why are original signatures required?
The original is always best. In law, we have something called the best evidence rule. Basically, if you are presenting evidence to a court, it must be the best evidence available. So if a signed agreement is evidence, then the agreement with the original signatures of both parties will be the best evidence.
