You can send faxes from your computer as long as you have an Internet connection and a fax modem. Most computer users can view Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Prior to sending a PDF to a fax machine with Windows Fax, you should make sure the program is configured and ready to use.
Sign up for a free account on FAX. Go to the Send Fax section and enter the recipient's fax number in the To field (country code + area code + fax number) Click on the Add Text or Add File buttons to attach the documents you wish to fax.
Open a new email message, type the fax number, followed by @efaxsend.com, into the To: field. Attach your fax document and type a message in the body of the email to use as your cover sheet. Hit Send. Your fax and cover letter will be delivered to your recipient's fax machine.
Create a new email message in Gmail, either within the app or the browser-based interface, by clicking on or tapping the Compose button. Enter the recipient's fax number (including area code) in the To field, followed by the domain of your fax provider.
Simply attach an active phone line to your computer's phone jack and then open the faxing software on your computer. On Windows PCs, the faxing software is Windows Fax and Scan which is built-in to every PC. On Apple computers, it's simply called the Fax PDF tool and can be found under File > Print.
Place the document you want to send in the document feeder. Enter the fax number you want to send to, including and extensions to dial externally, and any international dialing codes. Press Send or Go (depending on your fax machine model)
Open the program you want to use to fax. Select the document that you want to have faxed. Prepare a cover page to put on top of that document. Select the option to fax Enter the fax number you want to send to. Select the option to send. Wait for the document to finish sending.
Gmail Fax to Email It is as easy to send a fax via a Gmail account as it is to send an email. First, click on the Compose option in your email account. You simply enter the recipient's number and faxdomain.com, using the provided domain, as the fax number.
