How do I get out of a Unite Student contract?
Unless you have already collected the keys to the accommodation, you may cancel your booking by writing or sending an e-mail to us at cancellations@unitestudents.com, at any time during the 7 days after we e-mail you confirming your booking is complete (the 7 Day Cooling-Off Period).
How do I check out unite students?
You can check in on or after the start date of your tenancy agreement. If you're unsure when this is, log in to your Unite Students account or go to the Get Ready for Check-in section of the Reunite app to find out.
How do I change my card details on Unite student?
Please ensure you notify us if you change your bank or card payment details at any time, by contacting our National Contact Center or your property team. You can view your account online at www.unitestudents.com by logging in to your personalized 'My Account section'.
What happens if you don't pay your student rent?
After fourteen days of late rent: You are entitled to initiate contact with the guarantor. Nearly all student tenancy agreement have guarantors as students tend to not have steady regular income. As a guarantor, they are legally bounded to pay any outstanding charges that are not paid by a tenant.
How do I contact unite students?
Alternatively you can contact our National Contact Center on 0300 303 8642. If you are not yet living with us, or you are a member of the public, you can also call us on this number, and we will take the details of your complaint and help resolve it.
Can you cancel university accommodation?
You can cancel your application up to 14 days after the date we confirm your booking is complete (the Initial Cancellation Period). As confirmed in your agreement, we will refund the full security deposit.
Can you leave uni accommodation?
Most students in halls of residence will have a fixed term agreement. This means that you have agreed to rent your accommodation for a certain period of time. In most cases the fixed term will be the academic year. There is a term in your agreement, known as a break clause, which allows you to end the agreement early.
