How do you sum a merged cell?
Select the cell just to the right of the range you want to collapse. In this cell, enter a SUM formula that adds up the range. Copy this formula down to other cells, if necessary. Select all the cells that contain the SUM formula. Press Ctrl+C to copy the cells to the Clipboard.
How do you find the sum of a merged cell in Excel?
Create a new workbook in Office Excel 2007. Right-click the status bar, and then select the Sum aggregation. Enter 5 in the A1 cell and in the D2 cell. In the A3 cell, type =SUM(A2,B2,C2,D2). Select the A2, B2 and C2 cells. On the Home tab, click Merge & Center. Right-click the A1 cell, and then click Copy.
Can merged cells be referenced in formulas?
Right-click the merged cell B1:D1, select “paste special → formulas” You should see the merged cell being 0. Type Col1 in the merged cell. You should now see all B2, C2, D2 to be Col1, i.e. now you can reference the merged cell as you expect it to be.
How do you expand a merged cell in Excel?
Answer:Select the merged cells that you wish to wrap text. In this example, we've selected cells A3:B3 which is the merged cell. Right-click and then select “Format Cells” from the popup menu. When the Format Cells window appears, select the Alignment tab.

How do I copy values from a merged cell?
Select the entire range you want to copy. Press Alt+. To select the visible cells only. Copy the range Press Ctrl+C or Right-click>Copy. Select the cell or range that you want to paste to. Paste the range Press Ctrl+V or Right-click>Paste.

The way it saves documents or re-saves them or use as a template is very confusing . And not all of the options on the desktop version are also available on the mobile version .
