How do I undo a locked format?
Select the range or ranges to be unlocked. Click the Format command button on the Ribbon's Home tab and then choose the Lock option near the bottom of its drop-down menu or press Alt+HOL.
How do you unlock a Word document that is locked for editing?
Step 1: Right-click the Word document that is locked for editing and chooses to open with Worded. Step 2: Now the Word document is unlocked automatically. You can edit it in your way. Step 3: Click the top left icon and choose Save.
