On the MATLAB toolstrip in Resources, click the down arrow under Help. Click Licensing. Select Update Current Licensesand follow the prompts to update your license.
For further details on how to update, please visit the following page, and select your license type. For MATLAB Student licenses, choose 'Student', then click the 'renew' button. For MATLAB Home Use licenses, choose 'Home Use', then click the 'renew' button. You will be brought to a page where your licenses are listed.
Go to the MathWorks download page . Click Download for the current release. the release name typically follows the format Ra or Rb . Choose the appropriate installer for your operating system. Locate the downloaded installer file.
On the Home tab, in the Environment section, click Preferences. Select MATLAB > General. The General Preferences pane is displayed. Click Update Toolbox Path Cache and click OK.
On the Home tab, click Help > Check for Updates > Products. If there is an update available, click Install Update to install the latest MATLAB product update for your version. If there is no update available for your version or if you have already installed the latest update, MATLAB displays that information.
Go to http://www.mathworks.com/licensecenter/ and sign into your MathWorks account. This page will display all the licenses that your MathWorks Account are linked to. If you do not see any licenses on this page then click the "View Full License List" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
License files are stored inside the MATLAB application package. Right click, CTRL-click, or two-finger click on the MATLAB icon in your Applications folder and select "Show Package Contents." In the folder that opens up, open the "licenses" folder to see your license files.
Just type "ver" in the MATLAB command window. It will show you what version of MATLAB you are running, your license number, and what toolboxes you have installed.
