For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Remember that your fieldwork experience is an extension of your academic curriculum. Make a list of things you would like to learn during your fieldwork experience. Keep in mind that fieldwork is a transformative learning process. Abide by the dress code. Know your learning style.
Start The Experience With Effective Communication. Share Your Learning Style With Your Supervisor. Don't Be Afraid To Admit When You Don't Know The Answer. Realize That You Will Make Mistakes. Research Evidence-based Treatment For Your Setting. Think Beyond The Day-to-day. Take Time To Observe Other Disciplines.
Occupational therapy students are required to complete Level I and Level II fieldwork experiences. Level I fieldwork includes course-related experiences in community-based settings. At their fieldwork sites students work closely with a experienced occupational therapist who serves as a mentor and supervisor.
Fieldwork educators responsible for supervising Level II Fieldwork occupational therapy students shall meet state and federal regulations governing practice, have a minimum 1 year of practice experience after initial certification, and be adequately prepared to serve as a fieldwork educator.
For Level II fieldwork, an occupational therapist can supervise an occupational therapy student as long as the therapist meets state regulations and has a minimum of 1 year of practice experience after the requisite initial certification.
Does an OTA student have to have an OR as a supervisor? A certified occupational therapy assistant can supervise an occupational therapy student during Level I Fieldwork. An occupational therapist (OR) must supervise an occupational therapy student during Level II Fieldwork.
For Level II fieldwork, an occupational therapist can supervise an occupational therapy student as long as the therapist meets state regulations and has a minimum of 1 year of practice experience after the requisite initial certification.
OT stands for Occupational Therapist whereas OTA stands for Occupational Therapy Assistant, but they seem alike because both the professionals use occupational therapy treatment to treat their patients. Both OT and OTA guide their clients to overcome and enhance their abilities to recover their injuries or illness.
