I love that I can fill out forms and save them fax them from here and really anything I need to do in one area. I hate that it cost so much cause I’m on a fixed income and don’t have the money to keep it I can only use it for the free 39 days.

For Word 2016 or 2013, the Equation Editor should be available by default. Simply select the Insert tab and choose Equation under the Symbols section. If you still do not see the Equation option, you may have to go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
To insert a preset equation in Word, place your cursor at insertion point in your document where you want the equation to appear. Then click the Insert tab in the Ribbon. Then click the Equation button in the Symbols button group on the right end of the tab.
When installing Microsoft Equation 3.0 download you start by opening Microsoft Word. To insert the equation, you need to choose Insert, Object, and Microsoft Equation 3.0 and then click Ok. Once this is done, a highlighted area appears along with equation editing palette.
When the Equation Icon is Grayed Out If the icon is grayed out, chances are, you have an older type of word document open. Save the document by clicking on File > Save As. DOCX and must use the equation editor, then you have an option to use the older version of the editor by doing the following. Go to Insert tab.
To insert an equation in a Word 2007 document, click on the “Insert” menu/tab to see the “Insert” ribbon. In the “Symbols” section, choose “Equation”. You can also press “Alt+=” on your keyboard. You will now see Equation Tools | Design Ribbon.
To type an equation from scratch, press Alt += on your keyboard. Choose Insert > Equation and select Insert New Equation from the bottom of the built-in equation gallery. This inserts an equation placeholder where you can type your equation.
