The status of a work order indicates its position in the processing cycle. The status determines which actions can be performed on the work order. For example, if the work order is approved, it has a status of APPR and the tasks can begin. The work order is waiting for approval.
When a work order is released the material necessary for the production of the work order is committed from inventory and will not be available for other production. All components of the work order are displayed and any shortages (Required quantity being greater than Available quantity) are shaded red.
To void a work order, click the Void Work Order button located on the component toolbar. Manufacture Order module options. Quick Fulfill quickly fulfills all work orders. This will proceed through the Finish Work Order wizard for each work order on the manufacture order.
