I didn't authorize that. I called and requested a refund and they gave one right away, so they said. It was just today I requested a refund so I will check my account in a few days to see if they actually sent it. A. The Work Number is an automated service providing employees control over common human resource and payroll functions. The Work Number's most popular feature is its employment and income verification service.
Verify employment information. Write down the employer's name, phone number and other contact information, such as an email address, you received. Ask the person who provided the information to check for errors. Ask for additional information, such as her supervisor's name and number, to make the process easier.
To receive employment and income verification, the verifier will need a 6-digit code called a Salary Key. You can have a maximum of 3 Salary Keys at one time. You will then be asked to validate your identity by providing your email account to receive a one-time passcode.
