I have only been using PDFfiller for a couple of months but it has been a godsend. My son has 3 different court cases going and that is a ton of forms that need to be filled out every time he needs to file or respond. PDFfiller makes the process extremely easy. All I do is search the form, add it to my profile and then fill it out. It retains ALL the information and adds it to the next page so that I am not having to repeat the same information over and over. This is all I have used it for but am looking forward to what other features I will be able to use in the future.

In grad school, much of my reading comes from pdf files my professors post. Prior to PDFfiller, I would print out hundreds of papers in order to annotate. Now, I can annotate while conserving resources and I have access to the files no matter where or what device I use.

It was really easy to modify the text but it didn't allow for modifying the form itself. When I ran out of blocks (Employee Review Form), I couldn't add any lines to the bottom or even take away some of the "Reviewer comments" to give me space to add more lines for categories.

For organizations with budgets under $1 million, it's common for the executive director's salary to be about 10% of the budget. For larger nonprofits with budgets in the tens of millions, this percentage typically drops to between 1% and 2.5%.
A severance package is an agreement between a nonprofit organization and its CEO that provides compensation and benefits to the CEO in the event that their employment is terminated, often due to circumstances outside of their control, such as restructuring, budget cuts, or a change in leadership.
Despite claims to the contrary, non-profits and their executive directors both benefit from the existence of an employment contract. The employment agreement should clearly spell out the terms of the employment relationship and leave no surprises.
Directors and officers who are paid by a nonprofit must be classified for payroll and other tax purposes. They can either be employees or independent contractors. The nonprofit must withhold and pay payroll taxes to the IRS for employees. There is no such requirement for independent contractors.
Both California and federal law say you must be an employee. There are very rare exceptions wherein a corporate officer will have a very limited and specific job within the corporation and then service the corporation as an independent consultant in other areas.
Nonprofits must issue a Form 1099-NEC to independent contractors they hire if the payments meet specific criteria.
A non-executive director is an individual appointed to a company's board of directors. They are not employed by the company but act as independent advisors or directors to help the company achieve its goals.
Directors of a corporation - members of the governing board - are defined by statute as non-employees. If an exempt organization pays its board members to attend board meetings or otherwise compensates them for performing their duties as directors, the organization should treat them as independent contractors.
