What is a job description?

A job description is a formal document that outlines the responsibilities, skills, qualifications, and reporting relationships of a position within an organization. It serves as a critical tool in the hiring process by attracting appropriate candidates and clarifying expectations. Clearly written job descriptions ensure both employers and potential employees share a mutual understanding of the role.

  • Choose 'Blank PDF' as your document type.
  • Use the text editor to input your job title and description.

pdfFiller provides numerous text formatting options that enhance the readability and appeal of your job description. Users can adjust font sizes, styles, colors, and layout to emphasize key points. Utilizing bullet points and headers also improves scanning and retention for potential candidates.

Saving, exporting, and sharing documents made with the builder tool

Once your job listing is complete, pdfFiller offers several options to save, export, and share your document. You can save it in various formats such as PDF, DOCX, or even as a simple text file. Sharing can be done directly via email, providing a link, or by exporting to cloud storage platforms. These features ensure seamless distribution to stakeholders or candidates.

Unclear as to whether or not I can save multiple versions of the fillable form for future editing, which I assume, but it's not intuitive, otherwise I would have rated 5.

Loved the fact that it popped up in Google with the DOT form I needed, and allowed me to fill it out without any issues. The 7 Day trial is great and I will most likely keep for the year, due to the ease of adding in forms as well. Thanks

I am happy with PDFfiller for the most part. It is a very good editor that makes a normal document look sophisticated. My only complaint is the price. 15$ a month for this? I mean it is a good editor, but 175$ a year is to much for me. Overall, it is a great app for editing with a great package of fun.

Great service! Could use some updates though. The site is rather slow at times, and when changes text size there seems to be a bug where the page needs to refresh or reload. Also, general improvements on loading time would be nice. Also, please make the process of saving to PDF less steps and less clunky. I don't need to be shown where the pdf will be once downloaded.

Kara provided great tech assistance and… Kara provided great tech assistance and she was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. The 4 stars is for Kara. The company on the other hand... not so helpful. They are great at marketing their product but provide very limited and nearly useless resources for helping their subscribers troubleshoot issues and/or educating the consumer on the tools and functions of the product. The company YouTube channel spends about 30 seconds on "how to" and the remainder of the video is promoting the product. Seriously, every single video, watch for yourself. All fluff and no substance.

Helpful for Digital Signature Overall the PDF filler is amazing and free! These days, a lot of people don't have printers and scanners. Also, a lot of us are working from home. This software makes it possible to sign documents without printing and scanning. My least favorite thing is that you have to create an account to save your document. It would be nice to not have to provide my email to save the document.

I know there is more to learn and if I had the time to learn it, I would, but I just don't have the time, am in the middle of moving, so I can't do it.

Only used a few times Only used a few times, but so far no major issues. The only pain point, I would say is the editor...I am still getting in practice. Overall, this is a very good and useful tool.
